Toxic leadership is at the base of the economic disparity and the manipulation of the free-market. Cheating is allowed and rewarded in todays corporatism. Executives are paid multiples above their workers yet are not held accountable for decisions and outcomes. Toxic leaders must be held accountable to the corporate values they represent. This is their fiduciary responsibility. Non-compliance is when executives step outside their agency agreement. It should be illegal and monitored from outside the internal compliance mechanisms. Abandoning regulation DOES NOT help a free-market, it subverts it. It allows for cheating and the abuse of position which is the core of toxic leadership and corruption.
